Colour Transfer from Face Jewels/Glitters
As with any cosmetic product, colour transfer may occur when you apply glitter or face jewels to your face or body.
With the move to more eco-friendly products, there has been a move away from plastics used in these products. Traditionally a plastic coating was used to stop colour transfer.
We find that the stronger colours, such as red, purple and green may be more likely to transfer colour temporarily to the skin. Much in the same way that a flavoured or coloured ice pop might temporarily dye your tongue.
Any colour transfer can be easily removed with an oil-based remover or gentle cleanser.
If in doubt, we always recommend doing a patch test first on a small part of your skin, as you would when testing hair dye.
